Dhanwantharam Gulika is a classical polyherbal tablet formulation named after Lord Dhanwantari, the deity of Ayurveda. It is composed of a synergistic blend of herbs and minerals including Dashamoola (group of 10 roots), Pippali (Piper longum), Chitraka, Shunti, Vacha, Bhallataka, and others. This formulation is especially useful in managing Vata disorders, including conditions affecting the nervous system, respiratory system, and digestive system. It is traditionally prescribed in Ayurvedic practice for symptoms like breathlessness (Shwasa), hiccups (Hikka), digestive bloating (Anaha), neurological issues, and post-natal care.
