Ferrum phosphoricum is a powerful homoeopathic medicine prepared from phosphate of iron, known for its marked action in the early stages of febrile and inflammatory conditions, especially of the respiratory tract, head, and circulatory system. It occupies a therapeutic position between the active inflammation, and the sluggishness. It is particularly suited to anæmic, sensitive, nervous individuals, with a false plethora, a tendency to flushing, and susceptibility to chest troubles. It is also beneficial in acute exacerbations of tuberculosis, first-stage infections, and bright red hemorrhages from any orifice. Common Name English: Phosphate of Iron SBL’s Ferrum phosphoricum can be helpful in the following conditions: Restless Sleep and Catarrhal Fever Ferrum phosphoricum aids in restless sleep with anxious or erotic dreams. Supports night sweats, especially in anæmic individuals. Helps in catarrhal and inflammatory fevers, especially when chills occur at 1 p.m. Indicated in first stage of all febrile disturbances. Hemoptysis and Lungs Congestion Aids in first stage of all respiratory inflammations, including bronchitis and croup. Supports congestion of the lungs, hoarseness, and dry, painful coughs.
